I am a freelance writer based in Southeast Asia. I was born and educated in England, but moved to Thailand in 2004. Find out more about me here.

In Thailand I have written freelance stories for a slew of magazines, newspapers and websites. I have also worked full time as a content editor for a travel website (Agoda), a reporter/sub editor for a business newspaper (Business Day) and a desk editor for a local newspaper (Phuket Gazette).

I am currently based in Dili, Timor-Leste, where I write for various leading publications and wire services. I cover everything from hard news to travel and features for the likes of AFP, Reader’s Digest, IPS and Guardian Weekly. My stories are archived on this site.
